     Owner and Head Engineer Andrew Twiss has been working in the audio industry for 29 years, and has been working in both post-production and music for most of that period.  8 time Emmy nominee and 5 time Emmy winner for best audio in the Midwest Regional Emmy awards, he has won these accolades for his recording, mixing, sound design and editing work on a variety of projects including concerts, documentaries and movies.

     He has worked on TV shows such as American Greed, Deadly Rich, Great Performances, Chicago Stories, and Bunnytown for networks including A&E, Oprah, CNBC, PBS, The Disney Channel, and the DIY network to name a few.  He has had the opportunity to engineer commercials for companies including McDonald’s (English and Spanish), Toyota, Sears, Mazda, Procter and Gamble, Cox Business, Illinois Lottery, Nationwide Insurance, Jewel and many others.  In addition, he has performed dialog editing, sound-design and re-recording for a variety of independent film projects. His daily work has also included extensive experience with foreign language recording and production for corporate projects.

     In the world of music, Mr. Twiss was the primary music mixer for the songs in Fox's Empire for seasons 1, and 3-6.  The season 1 soundtrack went on to become a gold album.  He has engineered  for many albums, commercials, and TV shows, including surround mixing work on Disney’s “Bunnytown”, recording for Sesame Street,  mixing on the Fuse TV Bonnaroo special (Beastie Boys and Coheed & Cambria), multiple McDonald’s and Illinois Lottery campaigns, and Soundstage concerts for artists including Sheryl Crowe, Alanis Morrisette, John Mayer, KT Tunstall, Dashboard Confessional, Sonic Youth, Chris Isaac, Chicago, Yes, Kris Kristofferson and many others.  A recent project also involved recording music for the new Chicago experience, Flyover Chicago, at Navy Pier.

     Andrew and his colleagues are highly experienced personnel with a long history of working on high profile projects and creating outstanding results.
